Kit Contents

The contents of your house kit will reflect any special customisation to your individual requirements.  However, the following list provides a guide to the contents of a typical kit.  You will need space to store the kit and to lay out the structural components in a logical order during construction - when packed, most kits will make up around two articulated lorry loads.

Typical Delivery Specification

Drawings/Instructions:
-    -          Plan drawings
-    -          Section drawings
-    -          Construction drawings
-    -          Building instructions, in English
-    -          Dimensioning plan of foundation

Structural components:
-    -          Laminated log walls
-    -          Securing bolts
-    -          Floor joists and cavity tray
-    -          Flooring boards for mezzanine and first floor (not ground floor)
-    -          Stud timber for cavity walls
-    -          Log profile panelling for internal walls
-    -          Log gable
-    -          Rafter sliding irons

Outer components:
-    -          Barge/fascia and eave boards
-    -          Pressure treated veranda timbers
-    -          Access steps

Inner components:
-    -          Pine or spruce panelling for ceiling and external walls
-    -          Door lining and architraves
-    -          Skirting and cornice detail
-    -          Window boards and decorative surroundings
-    -          Pine panelled doors with handles etc
-    -          Windows and doors (choice of colours)
-    -          Sauna panel and veranda according to model
